Elizabeth Mahlow, PE

Elizabeth Mahlow is a licensed engineer whose work emphasizes high-rise concrete construction, seismic design, and special structures, such as Coachella installations and one-off artistic endeavors. Since co-founding NOUS Engineering, Elizabeth has managed multiple large-scale fast-track projects, and is known for her significant attention to strengthening collaboration and diversity among practitioners. She serves on the Advisory Board for the Architectural Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and sits on the Advisory Board for the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design. She holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is registered in California.
