Omar Garza, SE
Principal

Omar L. Garza is a licensed structural engineer with a particular emphasis on advanced analysis, earthquake resilience, and seismic evaluation and rehabilitation of existing buildings. A co-founder of NOUS Engineering, he is licensed in 31 states, and has worked on numerous improvements, renovations, and new structures throughout his career. He has been in charge of evaluating and seismically retrofitting dozens of historical structures in California, honing his capacity for managing complex adaptive reuse projects and preparing for an ever-changing world. He holds a degree in Structural Engineering from UCSD, and is licensed in states including California, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Rhode Island, and 26 more.
