Nous Engineering provided fast-track assessments for six hospital buildings on an Oceanside campus to meet Senate Bill NPC seismic upgrades. The assessments included multiple site visits under short timeline off business hours, data collection in the field of non-conforming bracing of all non-structural components. A report was provided to the client to understand the level of retrofit required, followed by retrofit construction documents.

Seismic building assessments, including structural analysis and conceptual retrofit plans of the two existing concrete framed buildings for cost estimation purposes in order to meet Structural Performance Category (SPC) upgrade requirements to remain operational were also included.
