SEATTLE RESIDENCE
Seattle, WA, USA
2026

Located along the waterfront of Puget Sound, the two-story, approximately 6,750 SF single-family residence is organized in an angled, box-over-box composition, developed in collaboration with Bestor Architecture. The building form responds to the site by extending outward through a series of open spans and substantial cantilevers, framing unobstructed views of the water. A curved feature wall anchors the composition and defines the spatial organization of the interior, which includes a curved feature stair and an overhead skylight.

Using open-front diaphragm analysis methods, the structure enables long spans and a reduced structural footprint at the perimeter. Continuous perimeter glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, orienting the primary living spaces toward the waterfront. A green roof at the lower elevation integrates the building with the surrounding landscape while enhancing environmental performance.
