The iconic seven-story IBM Aerospace Headquarter building, completed in 1964 by the renowned industrial architect Eliot Noyes, is part of the Otis College of Art and Design complex. As part of a tenant improvement design by Fredrick Fisher and EYRC, Nous provided a Due Diligence study utilizing Tier 1 and Tier 2 evaluation procedures as outlined by ASCE 41-17. Further Tier 3 systematic evaluation procedure was completed to justify retrofit recommendations in order to measure the resilience of the building to better serve the college community.
