The museum features a public stair and ‘storefront’ galleries, inviting visitors through sunlit atrium spaces, open galleries and an expansive sculpture terrace. The designed relationship between indoor and outdoor space encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the celebrated climate of Southern California, where light, air, and space have influenced generations of artists. Nous worked with Radius Track to engineer the support for the doubly curved terracotta panel cladding and interior curved drywall.
