Luther George Park Performance Pavilion

As the Engineer of Record, NOUS achieved a delicate balance between technical precision and artistic expression for the Luther George Park Performance Pavilion.

With its sweeping 150-foot span anchored on just two ground points, the pavilion looks almost weightless—an effect made possible through innovative engineering and the precise assembly of hand-bent weathering steel panels. Designed by Trahan Architects and fabricated with shipbuilding techniques, this pavilion is both a functional performance space and a work of art.
