House on a Hill
Designed by Donaldson + Partners, Hill House Montecito is a dramatic, formally inventive residence in Montecito, California.
NOUS partnered with Radiustrack to engineer this complex residence, designing the light-gauge metal framing used for the creation of interior landscapes, curved ceilings, and monolithic concrete walls. This secondary structural system created unique geometric forms within the residence that mirror the adjacent hillside and bolster Donaldson + Partners’s singular architecture vision.
