Culinary Lab
Located in a historic 1928 neoclassical bank building, 3DS Culinary Lab merges food, technology, and design.
Oyler Wu Collaborative stripped the interior to its structural core—concrete vault, masonry walls, and exposed steel trusses—and inserted a strikingly modern interior. NOUS contributed to the structural design, including a seismically isolated two-story glass food-printing cube, a cantilevered mezzanine lounge with CNC-milled panels, and an intricately woven steel guardrail. The project blurs the boundary between structure and ornament while accommodating advanced kitchen and food-prep systems.
