Charlotte Special Structure Wins Award

Designed by Freyja Bardell and Brian Howe of Greenmeme, the Charlotte project recently received an award of Merit in the annual CODAWorx competition. The work is symbolic of the close collaboration with police officers, community members and workshop participants from the Urban Ministry Center. Faces of those who participated were captured through 3d photogrammetry. Thousands of CNC wire sketch lines were bent to form the intricate form.
